Know your iPhone’s country of origin.
Have you ever used an iPhone without knowing the model number or the country of origin? Many users confuse themselves between the terms ‘made’ and ‘assembled’. It is possible that your iPhone is made in a country and assembled in another. The procedure for obtaining this information is simple, and this article will just show you how to determine the model and the country of origin of your iPhone. Let's get started!
HOW TO FIND THE MODEL NUMBER OF YOUR IPHONE?
To track your device’s model number, go through the following steps:
1. Open the Settings menu.
2. Select General
3. Select About.
4. Then scroll down until the “Model” appears in the About Tab.
Once you've done so, you'll be able to see the component number next to the Model. Look for the two characters before the slash (/) since they are important in determining your iPhone's country of origin. If the final two letters before the slash are 'LL' (as seen below), your iPhone was made in the United States. Similarly, if the final letter before the slash is 'A,' your iPhone was made in Canada.
As simple as that. Help yourself with the following codes and their corresponding countries to find out your iPhone’s country of origin.
